Club Development

Boots Hockey Club - A club with a plan!

In 2006 we set out our 3 yr business plan detailing how we would take the club forward. We are now in the 3rd year of that plan and I am pleased to announce that we are ahead of the game.

Our main objective from of the plan was to establish a junior hockey academy within the 3yrs and I am delighted with the progress we have made. The success in this area is testament to the hard work put in by individuals too many to name, but particular tribute must go to Natasha O'Flaherty and Michael Vipond. In 2009 we acheived our target of gaining England Hockey Clubs First accreditation for the academy.

Whilst we will seek to improve the standard of our hockey across teams, we are clear that this will never be done at the expense of our mission, purpose and values...

To become the friendliest hockey club in the Midlands!

To help our members get fit, compete, meet new people and have fun through the sport of hockey, irrespective of age or ability.
